3D City Props - Mailbox

This mailbox was supposed to be a complementary prop for the trash container I made previously, but as I advanced through the project, I decided to give it more attention and make it a more optimized and texture-detailed one. I had a blast working on the model optimization and trying to create its texture in a way to enhance its story as a city prop. Modeled in Blender, details sculpted in ZBrush, textured in Substance 3D Painter, rendered in Marmoset and sent to Unreal Engine as a game-ready key/hero prop.

Opted for a more optimized geometry, grabbing some surface shifts, surface transitions and bolts from the high poly model.

Close-up on the upper part, the "focal point" of the prop, I guess.

Definitely not the focal point, but there you go, some love to its feet.
